NO SHORTCUTS, JUST CARRY THE WORD – John 3:16 | The Lord Of The Harvest – Lesson 7 | David ADENIJI

Sometime ago, I lost an important file on my phone. It had taken several man hours and investment to put that work together as it required field experience, but now it is gone. That file is some training content that should be sold for good business. I had deleted it mistakenly!

Now, as I was about to start feeling very bad and sad about it. It popped my mind that some certain software can help recover lost files, so I searched and tried one. You see, even though that software was common knowledge to me, I’ve actually been used to such for about 2 decades now, yet when I tried it yesterday and it worked and recovered that precious file for me, it was like a miracle. The miracle is not only that I found the file, the miracle is that of how a sad and almost regretful countenance can change in a twinkle to joyous and vibrant, hopeful and confident.

God showed me immediately there that there’s nothing lost in your life that cannot be found, nothing missing that cannot be located, if only you use the right tools and methods. Let me announce to you that the best of such tools is God’s word, which is God’s Seed. You don’t have shortcuts, you must carry God’s seed, with it you locate every other thing you are looking for.

Notice I said you must ‘carry’ God’s seed, which is His word. Underline the word carry. You only carry something that is heavy. The word of God is heavy. So much spiritual weight, impacting visibly on human circumstances. When you carry it and believe in it, you carry power.

Unfortunately, people want shortcuts. They hear hot sermons and never return to the notes they took, to study those scriptures and internalize the revelations shared. They prefer quotable quotes and motivational skits that appeal to emotion and appear as true talk! They don’t want to labor in the word for themselves until it becomes flesh in them.

Don’t just browse scriptures and sample devotionals, from now on, devote time, please do, settle down and consume it. You can begin by spending more time on every scripture we share on this channel. Spend hours with the word, not just those few minutes spent in haste. No. No SHORTCUTS, Just carry the seed of God in you. Your harvest is waiting in Jesus Name, Amen!

SOW THE WORD – Luke 8:11 | The Lord Of The Harvest – Lesson 6 | David ADENIJI

When you receive a miracle by sitting under a minister’s ministration, you got that miracle because such a person has invested quality time sowing God’s word into his own life, and then nurturing it all along until it blossoms and becomes beneficial, not just to him, but to other people, which included you. Our Lord Jesus said clearly in the parable of the sower that the seed sown by the sower is the word of God. Let’s therefore make it clear again that it’s God’s word that changes lives. Faith, prayer, fasting, giving, etc, all delivers according to God’s word that has been sown.

So, you must understand that sowing God’s word continuously into yourself is the surest guarantee that your desires will be met…continuously!. We must get to a level where we depend on God solely for every blessing we want and not on ourselves or any other person or agent. The grace of God is available to all who will diligently sow the word into their lives. It takes time, but it’s worth it.

Now, here’s why it’s very important. John 1:1-4 established that Jesus Himself is the word. So when you sow the word intentionally into your life, or into any situation, you are deliberately establishing Jesus in there. That Scripture proves to us again that when there’s no seed, there’s no life, because Jesus is that life, you need.

Finally, here’s how to sow the word. Read that parable of the sower once again in Matt 13:3-8 or Luke 8:5-8 and discover that the seeds that fell on good soil were the only ones that produced a hundred fold harvest. The sower was not deliberately sowing the word, that’s why 75% of it fell in wrong places. You must deliberately, consistently, and intentionally stay with God’s word for hours, to get the kind of results you want.

Corporate unction is good, but you get a permanent flow of God’s grace and blessings only when you birth the revelations that led to it YOURSELF, by sowing the word lavishly into yourself. Good soil means right heart. When your heart is right, your manifestations will be evident and permanent. Just know that as you sow God’s word into yourself, your harvest is maturing gradually, and you’ll reap unending produce, in Jesus Name. Amen!

HOW YOUR SEEDS PRESERVE YOUR LIFE | 2 KINGS 4:10-37 | The Lord Of The Harvest – Lesson 5 | David ADENIJI

A seed is anything you’re ready to part with to access harvest. If it doesn’t leave your hand, nothing positive happens.

Nobody prospers without sowing seed, that’s the real reason for poverty!

As a matter of fact, you risk going into extinction without quality seed. It should amaze you that God instructed specifically that the plants and fruits that should come out of the ground must be seed-bearing, otherwise, they exist for just a season and disappear off the earth.

Now, how exactly do seeds preserver your life. I think we should dig into the Genesis of the seed at this point, so you see what I’m seeing. In Genesis 1:11-12, God mentioned the word seed, 4 times. I want you to see how specific He was in describing what should come out of the land. Whatever it is, they must contain SEED. That’s because your seed guarantees your continuity in everything you do in life.

Now, do we see the reason why you must always sow seeds? It’s very essential. Without sowing seeds, no continuity, no multiplication, what you have instead is stagnancy, division, dryness and staleness.

But hidden in every seed is virtue and power for continuity and multiplication of life. Hidden in every seed is life! Seeds Preserve the life of their parent plant. Your seeds equally preserve your life and keep you alive in good health. No matter the storm, you have a deep root and you’re standing. Seed sowing is not a religious routine. It is key, never ignore it.

We see in Mark 4:31-32 that a seed, when sown, becomes a tree. Birds nest on it, shelter is received under it, and new life blossoms on the tree. What a word, Grab that and run with it!

YOUR SEEDS PRESERVE YOUR LIFE | Psalms 20:1-3 | The Lord Of The Harvest – Lesson 4 | David ADENIJI

Sometimes, even as humans, when you are presented with the choice to help someone, the first thing you think is whether they deserve it. Our God doesn’t work that way. He sees us equally. But Bible says He’s a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him – Heb 11:6. God is not partial (Acts 10:34), and he loves us equally, but he allows us to be responsible also at filling our clouds in anticipation for rain, when the clouds are full – Ecc 11:3

Your seeds are life savers, believe me, they wait for you when you’re in dare need for help. Maybe not you directly, but if you fail to sow seeds into God’s kingdom and into people’s lives today, there might be nothing to fall back on in such times of dare need.

Hear Psalms 20… The Lord hear you in the day of trouble…He will Remember your offerings…and Grant your heart desires. Now, that’s seed, sown previously, preserving your life. But does that suggest we will all have days of trouble?…

Well, Psalm 41 verses 1-3, supports that – “Blessed is he who considers the poor, the Lord will deliver him in times of trouble. The Lord will PRESERVE him and keep him ALIVE.” I think you got that. That’s where I got todays topic. Your seeds preserve your life. If you’re too stingy to pay God 10% of what he has given you, then, how can you even think of giving extra as offering or seeds to other channels. Remember that your tithe is also a seed and a lifesaver – “I will rebuke devourers for your sakes and there shall be no untimely birth , ” – Mal 3:11.

But even if you’re not guilty of that, I believe many of understand that part of scriptures that financial abundance, prosperity answers to your giving, but not many understand that your seeds also preserve your life. Please check 2 Kings 4:10-37. Days of trouble are days when only mercy can scale you through. So, You need to start sowing seeds for such days. It’s like normal savings, you cash in on them definitely, someday. It’s risky not to sow seeds. Sow in love however, and not by compulsion. God loves the cheerful giver.

NO SEED, NO LIFE – Part 2 | 1 Kings 17:17-24 | The Lord Of The Harvest – Lesson 3 | David Adeniji

Avoid sowing casual seeds that cost you nothing. A seed is not philanthropy or CSR Done to boost your image in the society so that brands can patronize you. That’s also good, but seeds are sacrifices, even when the recipients have no way of paying back. Let it be tangible. Get radical with your offerings.

You know, here’s the thing with the seeds you sow genuinely, seeds that cost you something tangible. You can always draw grace from them. You can make demands of it.

Bible says,

“He that goeth forth with weeping, bearing precious seeds, shall doubtless come back carrying his sheaves with him” – PS 126:6

Bible says, God will….Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice….in the day of trouble. – PS 20:1-3. So, if you’re not sowing seeds, you’re cheating yourself.

Yesterday, we saw how the widow of Zarephath won for herself an endless supply of provision, because she sacrificed her last meal as a seed to Elijah. She didn’t only get material provision, she and her son escaped death that would have come from starving. Seeds are life savers.

But that story didn’t end there. You see, when there’s no seed, there’s no life. If you hate sowing, it’s like digging your house from beneath the foundation. One day, and suddenly, the structure will get weak and there be nothing to support it any more. In 1 Kings 17:17-24, that woman’s son fell sick and died. The woman didn’t hesitate to draw continuous virtue from her seed sown. Elijah raised her back to life, by the power of God. So you see, without that seed, the son would be gone forever, and her life will be shattered.

You could simply double your regular Sunday offerings. Or locate someone in your circle and lift them out of poverty, or choose to give full scholarships to certain children. Just sow a seed at your level, and be consistent. When you become an aggressive sower. You raise your quality of Life. Now, don’t wait until you have the money, take it as a project and pray for seed. Such seeds, will wait for you in future, and be your anchor.
